Who We Are
Our Mission: Connecting people to Big Cypress Institute through educational and experiential programs which foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the parks natural and cultural resources.
The Big Cypress Institute is a partnership between the Big Cypress National Preserve (BCNP). The Institute provides immersive, educational and interpretive experiences for visitors of BCNP. These interactive programs teach visitors about the ecosystems and history of the park and its surrounding areas. Proceeds from programs are used to support Everglades National Park.
